Whats even worse is that vanilla is in almost every candy or dessert product O.O Most of the desserts and candies I used to eat had vanilla. The other day I went to a See's Candies store with my mom. It is a little store that sells a bunch of chocolates and candies. I asked the lady working there if their chocolates had vanilla in them and she asked why. I told her I was allergic to it and she gave me a look like I was diseased. She even backed away from me!!
I found out that every single item in that store has vanilla in it or vanillin which is a vanilla substitute.
